The River Street is divided into three sections, namely First Pier Street, Upper River Street, and Lower River Street. Along the way, there are historical sites in sequence including the Hengyang Guild Hall Shoufo Palace, Boyajv, Chen Family Wine Cellar, ruins of the Wenxing Gate, Dragon King Temple, Changsha Guild Hall, old site of Xuanyuan Palace, Guanjia Wine Cellar, Wanshou Palace, Taiping Palace, and Yanggong Temple.

Boyajv was originally the Hengjun Public Hall, an affiliated building of the Shoufo Palace. It was first built in the mid-Qing Dynasty as a guild hall established by Hengyang merchants doing business in Qianyang. It has now been restored and opened to the public by Mr. Chen Shanying. Boyajv is characterized by its collection of ancient, solemn, elegant, and exquisite treasures, featuring ceramics, stone carvings, wood carvings, calligraphy and paintings, stationery, and other precious items from the Han Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as the Republican era. Among them, window grilles, plaques, and embroidery are particularly distinctive.

Qiancheng Town: Qiancheng Town is located in the southwest of Hongjiang City and is currently the seat of the new Hongjiang Municipal Government and the location of the municipal administration. Qiancheng has a long history. From the early Western Han Dynasty when the county was established until 1949, it had always been the site of the county seat. In 1998, Qianyang County and Hongjiang City were merged to form the new Hongjiang City, with the government of the new Hongjiang City stationed in Qiancheng Town. In December 2004, the government of the new Hongjiang City relocated to Qiancheng Town, and by 2012 all units had moved to Qiancheng Town.
