Xu Rongchang Shop

Xu Rongchang Shop was first built in the third year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1877). It is a single-courtyard two-story building with a wooden mortise-and-tenon structure. The architectural style incorporates features of Huizhou-style architecture, featuring carved beams and painted rafters, exuding extraordinary grandeur. The floor, paved with neat and orderly bluestone slabs, is distinctive. The entire building served both commercial and residential purposes, and holds significant scientific, artistic, and research value. The protected area extends 15 meters in all directions from the base of the shop walls. The construction control zone extends an additional 10 meters beyond the protected area in all directions.
