Xu Fulong Trading House

Xu Fulong Trading House was built in the 12th year of the Tongzhi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1873). It is a two-courtyard, two-story building. The first floor served as both a residence and place of business, while the second floor functioned as a goods warehouse. On the central pillar to the left of the first courtyard is embedded a square stone known as the "Warning Stone," serving as a moral reminder to future generations that in conduct, business, and financial dealings, one must uphold principles—balancing firmness with flexibility and acting with integrity. The entire structure features a rational layout and simple craftsmanship, reflecting a strong commercial cultural atmosphere, and holds high scientific, artistic, and historical value. The primary protection zone extends 30 meters in all directions from the foundation wall. The construction control zone begins 50 meters beyond the outer edge of the primary protection zone.
