Jingzhou Stele Garden
The Jingzhou Stele Garden is a cultural tourism attraction.
Located in the eastern part of the ancient city of Jingzhou, the Jingzhou Stele Garden is a specialized calligraphic stele park dedicated to praising Jiangling. The architecture follows the layout of a southern Chinese garden, featuring axial symmetry and a style reminiscent of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The garden houses over 300 stone tablets engraved with poetry and calligraphy by renowned artists from ancient to modern times, both in China and abroad. The calligraphic works include poems, lyrics, and ancient Chu idioms composed by poets throughout history, as well as contemporary calligraphers’ and poets’ own verses and inscriptions in praise of Jiangling.
