Tianyue Pass

Tianyue Pass is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province.

Tianyue Pass

Located in Xia'ao Village, Huanglong Township, Tongcheng County. Originally built during the Baoda era of the Southern Tang Dynasty, it was renovated in the fifth year of the Xianfeng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1855). The pass wall is constructed from granite, measuring approximately 30 meters in length, 4 meters in width, and 5.2 meters in height. A gate is situated in the middle, with a stone plaque embedded in the lintel, inscribed in intaglio regular script with the characters “Tianyue Pass.” (Third Batch)
