Henan Daily Newspaper History Museum

The Henan Daily Newspaper History Museum is a patriotic education base.

The Henan Daily Newspaper History Museum was established in May 2009. With rich content and a large collection of artifacts, it authentically recreates the history of the development and growth of Henan Daily and the news industry in Henan, showcasing the tremendous achievements of Henan’s economic and social development. It has had a wide impact both within and outside the province, becoming an important window for the Henan Daily Press Group to provide revolutionary tradition education and to promote Henan’s image externally. To date, it has received over 120 groups and more than 3,000 visitors from all walks of life, including leaders of the Party and state, central government departments, the provincial Party committee and government, domestic and international media, students from primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions, as well as military personnel.

In December 2013, the Henan Daily Newspaper History Museum was designated as a Henan Provincial Patriotic Education Demonstration Base by the Provincial Propaganda Department. This is of great significance for further expanding the museum’s influence, fully leveraging its role in revolutionary tradition and patriotic education, and promoting and showcasing the image of the Henan Daily Press Group.
