Taoying Town: A township under the jurisdiction of Ruyang County. In 1948, it belonged to the fifth district (Neibu) of the county; in 1955, Taoying Township was established; in 1958, it was incorporated into Neibu Commune; in 1975, Taoying Commune was split off; in 1984, it was restructured as a township. Located in the northern part of the county, 15 kilometers from the county seat, covering an area of 50 square kilometers with a population of 31,000. The Ruyang–Caidian and Ruyang–Da’an highways pass through the town. It administers 14 village committees: Taoying, Tieluying, Dabeixi, Nanzhuang, Xiaobeixi, Nansi, Houzhai, Shiyuan, Luoying, Weicun, Fantan, Shangpo, Yao’gou, and Huangtan.
