The Iron Smelting Site of the Hotel is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Iron Smelting Site of the Hotel is located in Xiping County, Henan Province in central China. It is an important iron smelting site dating from the Warring States period to the Jin Dynasty, spanning from 475 BC to 420 AD.

The Iron Smelting Site of the Hotel was discovered in 1987 and covers a total area of approximately 28,000 square meters. Within the site, one iron smelting furnace from the Warring States period has been found. The furnace is elliptical in shape, with a remaining height of 2.17 meters in the northeast, a furnace mouth width of 2.14 meters, and a base width of 1.6 meters. This furnace is the earliest and best-preserved iron smelting furnace discovered in China to date.

The discovery of the Iron Smelting Site of the Hotel plays an irreplaceable role in the study of the development history of ancient metallurgy in China. (National Cultural Heritage Administration)
