Angzhai Ancient Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Angzhai Ancient Temple is located at the eastern entrance of Angzhai Village, Gaotun Town, Liping County, at an elevation of 405.4 meters. Situated in a mountainous area, the temple faces beautiful pastoral scenery with a rich, fragrant earthy aroma. Behind the temple, a small river runs through the village, with crystal-clear water and rolling mountains on both sides. The area has a subtropical monsoon humid climate, suitable for crop growth, with local specialties including rice and rapeseed. About 200 meters in front of the temple, a county-level road passes by, leading north to Jinping County and south to Liping County.

Angzhai Ancient Temple was first built in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republican period. It faces east and is a three-bay, two-courtyard wooden structure covering an area of 70.62 square meters. Except for the front, the other three sides of the temple are enclosed by earthen walls. In the center of the front facade, there are seven standard stone steps, and in the very center at the back, there is an incense burner with a diameter of about 60 centimeters. The temple has a history of over a hundred years, and people from within a 50-li radius come here to burn incense and worship, making it widely known. However, due to years of disrepair and frequent visits for worship, the temple has suffered damage. Angzhai Ancient Temple holds significant historical value for the study of religious culture.
