The Huaxia Iron Smelting Cultural Ecological Park in Xiping County is located in the southwestern part of the county. Part of the project construction lies within the protected area of the national key cultural relic site “Hotel Iron Smelting Site.” In accordance with the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Protection of Cultural Relics,” the “General Plan for Henan Tangxiyuan National Forest Park,” the “General Plan for Chushan Town,” and the “Plan for the Hotel Iron Smelting Site,” Xiping County Tangxi Lake Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd. has invested 150 million yuan since 2015 to strengthen the protection and development of the cultural site. Centered around the iron smelting cultural ecological park scenic area and integrating cultural tourism industries, it has developed a series of tourist attractions including a science education park, a historical experience hall, an iron smelting culture corridor, a peach blossom garden, a children’s playground, the Tangxi Ancient Post, a starry sky campsite, a lakeside beach, lakeside wooden cabins, a moonlit lake view, a lakeside boardwalk, and an iron smelting site museum.
