Sanshan Residential House in Miyang
Sanshan Residential House The Sanshan Residential House in Miyang is located in Sanshan Natural Village, Qianzhai Village, Guanzhuang Town, Miyang County. Built during the Qing Dynasty, it features a brick-and-wood structure with blue bricks, gray tiles, wooden windows, doors, and beams. The upper left and right corners of the front façade are inscribed with the Chinese characters “Fu” (福, meaning fortune) and “Shou” (寿, meaning longevity), respectively. The roof ridges and the decorative wall tops (chitou) are adorned with elaborate brick carvings of birds, animals, and flowers, showcasing a unique and intricate craftsmanship. 204 Photo by Fan Jinfeng
