Muyang Tongshanhu National Forest Park is a national-level forest park.

Tongshanhu National Forest Park is located in Muyang County, Zhumadian City, Henan Province, covering a total area of 1,996 hectares. It is one of the main scenic areas of the Tongshan Scenic Area and serves as the watershed between the Biyang River of the Han River basin and the Ru River of the Huai River basin, vividly illustrating the natural phenomenon of “one mountain giving rise to two rivers, flowing in opposite directions.” The park is situated in the transitional zone between the northern subtropical and warm temperate zones. Influenced by the Jianghuai region, it enjoys a mild and moist climate, and boasts extremely rich flora and fauna resources, earning it the reputation of being Henan Province’s “plant specimen library.” The park encompasses three scenic areas: Tongshanhu Forest Park, Rock Plant Garden, and Yihedui, integrating mountains, rocks, forests, water bodies, and cultural landscapes. It combines both northern and southern Chinese aesthetics, forming an eco-tourism destination where nature and humanity coexist in harmony.
