The Fuzhuang Site is located in Fuzhuang Village, Zhaoling Town. In the fourth year of Duke Huan of Lu’s reign (656 BC), Duke Huan of Qi led an allied force of eight states to form an alliance with the state of Chu in Zhaoling. Fuzhuang is situated 1.5 kilometers northwest of Zhaoling and was the location of this historic meeting, hence it was called Huichengtai or Huishengtai (Alliance Platform or Victory Platform). In 1963, it was listed as a provincial-level key cultural relics protection unit and remains well-preserved to this day.
