The ruins of the Great Compassion Temple are a cultural heritage site protected by Luohe City.

The ruins of the Great Compassion Temple are located on a terrace about 200 meters north of Huizhuang Village in Wucheng Town, covering an area of over 40,000 square meters. They were discovered by Wang Xiangyun of the former Bureau of Culture and Education. The site is a terrace rising about four meters above the ground, and originally hosted the Great Compassion Temple on the ridge, hence the name. A road ditch about four meters deep, running from north to south, was dug through the central part of the site. On the exposed cliffs along both sides of the ditch, a large number of cultural layers and artifacts can be observed. The cultural layer is about three meters thick. At the southern end of the site, items such as painted pottery with string patterns, black pottery spinning whorls, shiny black pottery shards, red pottery pots with blue patterns and round bottoms, small kiln sites, black pottery rings, and pottery dou vessels have been found. Zhang Yaoxian from the county cultural center discovered a red pottery tripod with blue patterns and duck-billed feet here.

The ruins of the Great Compassion Temple have a rich historical content, dating from the Yangshao period at the earliest to the Warring States period at the latest. It is among the first batch of cultural heritage sites protected by Luohe City.

Huizhuang Village: Located in the northwest of Wucheng Town, Huizhuang Village administers three natural villages—Cuizhuang, Huizhuang, and Houzhangzhuang. The village has 352 households, a population of 1,346, 1,910 mu of land, 27 Party members, and a village committee consisting of five cadres.
