Fatty Temple Ruins

The Fatty Temple Ruins are a cultural heritage protection unit of Chicheng County.

The Fatty Temple Ruins date back to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods and are located 1,000 meters south of Zhenningbao Village, Zhenningbao Township, Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province.

On April 14, 2011, the Fatty Temple Ruins were announced as part of the second batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Chicheng County.

Protected area and construction control zone: with the edge of the ruins as the baseline, extending 20 meters east to the highway, 20 meters north to the highway, and 10 meters each west and south.

Zhenningbao Village: Zhenningbao Village is the location of the township government, is not a poverty-stricken village, and is 18 kilometers from the county seat. It governs one natural village. The village has 479 households and a population of 954, with 190 households and 332 residents permanently residing, and 198 people working away from home, generating an income of 2.97 million yuan. The total area is 14,578 square kilometers, with cultivated land of 2,115 mu and forestland of 74,205 mu.
