Old Station Site

The Old Station Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Chicheng County.

The Old Station Site dates back to the Late Paleolithic Age and is located about 700 meters south of Jiuzhan Village, Yunzhou Township, Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province.

On April 14, 2011, the Old Station Site was designated as part of the second batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Chicheng County.

Protected area and construction control zone: with the edge of the site as the baseline, extending 5 meters eastward, and 20 meters outward to the west, north, and south.

Yunzhou Township: Located in the northwest of Chicheng County, Yunzhou Township is 15 kilometers from the county seat. It covers a total area of 520.34 square kilometers. Provincial Highway 241 runs through the township from north to south and serves as a key transportation route connecting Beijing, Tianjin, and the Bashang Grasslands. The township administers 29 administrative villages, 62 natural villages, and has a population of 18,662 across 8,380 households, including 33 Party branches and 1,191 Party members. The township government currently has 42 official staff positions, with 33 actually on duty (including 11 party and government leaders and 22 general cadres), and 18 retired personnel.
