Inscriptions at Fangjiagou

The Fangjiagou Inscriptions are a cultural heritage site protected by Chicheng County.

The inscriptions at Fangjiagou date back to the Ming Dynasty and are located deep within Baitagou, 3,000 meters west of Fangjiagou Village, Longguan Town, Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province.

On April 14, 2011, the Fangjiagou Inscriptions were designated as part of the second batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Chicheng County.

Protected area and construction control zone: taking the edge of the cliff where the rock carvings are located as the baseline, extend 20 meters east, west, south, and north.

Longguan Town: Longguan Town is located between 40°43′ and 40°55′ north latitude, and 115°25′ and 115°46′ east longitude, with an average elevation of 1,200 meters across the town. The area has a temperate continental semi-humid climate, with an average annual temperature of 5.5°C, a frost-free period of 80–130 days, an average annual sunshine duration of 2,327–2,787 hours, and an average annual rainfall of about 450 millimeters.
