Qinggudui Site The Qinggudui Site is located north of Diyang Village in Huangji Township, northeast of the county town, bordering the Laohei River to the south. It was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit in 1978. The site stands 3 meters above the ground, with steep sides all around. Originally covering an area of 6,600 square meters, only 1,800 square meters remain today. It consists of accumulated gray soil, with the cultural layer generally extending 2 to 5 meters in depth and containing rich artifacts. Rain-eroded cross-sections reveal evidence of red-fired earthen house foundations. Artifacts unearthed include stone arrowheads, bone awls, deer antlers, animal bones, clam shells, as well as pottery items such as bowl-shaped tripods, deep-bellied jars, flat-bottomed bowls, and shallow-dish beans—all indicative of a Longshan Culture site. According to historical county records, Qinggudui was believed to be the tomb of Song dynasty general Di Wuxiang, though this remains unverified.
