Tomb of Min Ziqian

The Tomb of Min Ziqian is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Tomb of Min Ziqian is located in Minzimu Village, approximately 22 kilometers southeast of Fan County. The mound is 1.5 meters high, with a circumference of 8.4 meters, covering an area of about 20 square meters. The tomb site is close to the Yellow River and has been eroded and damaged at times. Officials and scholars from Fan County have contributed funds for renovations over the centuries. According to the *Fan County Annals*: “In the 36th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty (1608), County Magistrate Chen Kui initially funded the restoration of the tomb and the construction of a memorial shrine. In the 14th year of the Jiaqing reign of the Qing Dynasty (1809), County Magistrate Tang Shengxiu renovated the tomb and shrine, planting cypress trees around the site. Sun Xingyan, the Director of Grain Transport for Shandong, authored the inscription on the *Reconstruction of the Tomb of Min Ziqian* stele. To the north of the tomb there was originally a memorial archway dedicated to Min Ziqian, which was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution in 1966.”
