The Central Plains Lotus Garden is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Central Plains Lotus Garden is located in the 10,000-Mu Lotus & Loach Integrated Demonstration Base in Chenzhuang Town, Fan County. It is an agro-tourism and high-efficiency specialty agricultural park developed based on the area’s abundant water resources. As the largest green lotus root production base north of the Yellow River, it covers a total area of over 30,000 mu. It is one of the twenty boutique parks designated by the Puyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. “Boundless green lotus leaves merge with the sky; lotus blossoms glow red under the sun”—this line paints a true picture of Chenzhuang Town, known as the “Little Jiangnan of Northern Henan,” during summer. On summer weekends, the garden welcomes around 5,000 visitors daily. In 2014, Chenzhuang Town established two major brands—the 10,000-Mu Lotus fields and the Yellow River landscape—to boost the development of tertiary industries such as tourism and services across the town. In 2015, the Central Plains Lotus Garden was selected as one of Puyang’s “New Eight Scenic Spots.”
