The Temple Mountain New City Ruins are a Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Temple Mountain New City Ruins are located in Xincheng Village, Miaoshan Town, Tancheng County. Dating back to the Song Dynasty, they were designated as part of the fourth batch of Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the Shandong Provincial People's Government in 2013.

Miaoshan Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Tancheng County. It was established as Dabu Commune in 1958, renamed as a district in 1962, converted to Mazhan Commune in 1971, renamed Miaoshan Commune in 1981, restructured as a township in 1984, and upgraded to a town in 1995. Located north of the county seat and west of the Yihe River, it lies 42 kilometers from the city center. The town covers an area of 72 square kilometers and has a population of 43,000. The Shanhaiguan–Guangzhou Highway passes through it.
