Chestnut World is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Chestnut World Ecotourism Resort is an ecological leisure destination themed around chestnut grove conservation and the cultural heritage of Tancheng. It integrates sightseeing, vacationing, entertainment, and science education, and is China’s first interactive family eco-park themed on “chestnut culture.” It is a leisure plaza for the people of Tancheng, a model site for Tancheng tourism, a culinary paradise for local residents, a second classroom for Tancheng’s children, and a top choice for weddings among Tancheng’s newlyweds.

Chestnut World Ecotourism Resort is divided into six major zones: the Chestnut Memory Zone, the Chestnut Grove Melody Zone, the Educated Youth Home Zone, the Starry Sky Camp Zone, the Chestnut Tribe Zone, and the Sunflower Garden Zone. The Chestnut Grove Melody area combines the natural ecological environment of the chestnut grove with refined themed designs to create a family-friendly theme park that meets the recreational needs of residents in Tancheng and surrounding cities. The park features animals and plants related to woodlands as thematic elements, using stylized and personified designs to offer attractions such as a carousel, spinning teacups, disco roundabouts, and a flower sea mini train. It creates a colorful, educational, and entertaining world where young people and children can learn about ecological conservation and enhance their environmental awareness while having fun.

The scenic area of Chestnut World boasts unique and rich biological landscapes. The original Shenzhou Ancient Chestnut Grove is the largest chestnut production base on the inland plains of China. The grove mainly consists of 50–60 year-old and 15–20 year-old trees, along with over 10,000 ancient chestnut trees aged over 100 years. With blooming flowers in spring, shaded canopies in summer, and fruit-bearing trees in autumn, the scenery changes with the seasons, offering an elegant environment that is ideal for relaxation, entertainment, and sightseeing. The chestnut resources here are distinctive, abundant, and rare, featuring landscapes that are seldom seen elsewhere in China. Both the forest and cultural landscapes hold high value, attracting many tourists and photography enthusiasts.
