Yunshui Zen Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Surrounded by mountains, the Yunshui Zen Scenic Area in Yishui County, Linyi, boasts fresh air, beautiful scenery, and a harmonious natural environment. It is home to nine ancient ginkgo trees over a thousand years old, one national-level cultural relic protection site, and can accommodate over a thousand visitors for prayer and worship.

Yunshui Zen has three renowned features: its unique mountains, extraordinary trees, and mystical waters. The surrounding hills are picturesque, covered with lush forests and towering ancient trees. At the mountaintop, rocks perch precariously, while the Qingyuan River meanders gently at the foot of the mountain, creating a uniquely charming landscape. Yunshui Zen is famous for its majestic male ginkgo tree, which has a trunk diameter of 2.25 meters, stands 33 meters tall, and shades an area of over half an acre. With a history of over 1,300 years, this tree is surrounded by eight large female ginkgo trees, each about a meter in diameter, evenly spaced 15 meters to its north, east, and south. Locals call this arrangement "Nine Immortals Descending upon Holy Water." The most celebrated feature of Yunshui Zen is its "water." Beneath the ginkgo trees lies the Guanyin Temple, originally built during the Song Dynasty and carved from stone, which houses a statue of the Goddess of Mercy. Within the temple is the famed Holy Water Dragon Palace, where spring water flows continuously into a dragon-shaped pool. The pool is filled with crystal-clear, sweet-tasting water. Legend says this spring is connected to the East China Sea, and that the Dragon King often stops here while visiting the Seventy-Two Peaks of the Yimeng Mountains. Additionally, the original Wenchang Pavilion hall in the scenic area no longer exists, leaving only the Sanyuan Cave Mansion. There are three stone steles located both inside and outside the Holy Water Dragon Palace.

Yunshui Zen Scenic Area is a comprehensive tourist destination integrating Buddhist culture, sightseeing, and leisure entertainment. It is currently the largest Buddhist cultural training center in Shandong Province. The area emphasizes the exploration of Buddhist culture, highlighting it as the central theme, and has become a world-renowned destination for Buddhist culture and leisure tourism.
