Jiulong Maojian Tea
The “Jiulushan” brand Jiulong Maojian Tea is a product of the Qilichong Tea and Fruit Farm in Huishui County, Guizhou Province. In 1991, the farm used agricultural development funds to reclaim land and planted the “Fuding” medium-leaf tea variety from Fujian. The tea is carefully hand-picked and processed. This product won the Second Prize at the 1994 “China Tea Cup” competition and was honored as one of Guizhou’s Famous Teas in 1995.
The Qilichong Tea and Fruit Farm in Huishui County is located to the southwest of the county town, about six kilometers away. The farm enjoys an elegant environment and a pleasant climate, with its area surrounded by mountains covered in lush green pines. The terrain ranges in altitude from 950 to 1,100 meters. With an average annual temperature of 15.8°C and sandy soil with a pH value between 5.8 and 7.5, the Qilichong Tea and Fruit Farm, known for its unique “microclimate,” bursts with floral fragrance throughout spring, summer, and autumn. The area features blooming peach, plum, orange, and osmanthus flowers (cultivated), as well as wildflowers such as honeysuckle, azalea, cocklebur flower, and chestnut blossoms—making it a perfect destination for tourism, leisure, and summer retreats. The Jiulong Maojian Tea produced here is carefully hand-picked and processed. Its leaves are tightly rolled, covered in silvery tips, and yield tender, vibrant leaves. The tea liquor is bright green, fragrant, rich in aroma, and features a distinctive natural floral scent paired with a strong chestnut flavor.
