　　Pengshui Oil Tea is a specialty of Pengshui County in Chongqing Municipality. Pengshui County is one of China’s key national oil tea production bases, boasting unique resource advantages for developing the oil tea industry. Pengshui Oil Tea has been granted a National Geographical Indication Certification trademark.

　　The oil tea trees grow in an unpolluted, subtropical humid climate area surrounded by overlapping mountains, and their entire growth process requires no chemical fertilizers or pesticides. The growth period of the oil tea fruit, from flowering to ripening, spans five seasons—autumn, winter, spring, summer, and autumn—absorbing abundant natural nutrients and the essence of sunlight and moonlight. When harvested, the tea blossoms are in full bloom, with flowers and fruits on the same tree. The oil is renowned as “carrying children while pregnant,” considered a miraculous fruit on earth. The edible oil extracted from it is of premium quality, naturally healthy, and a rare gem among oils. Its nutritional value can rival that of olive oil, making it a high-end, purely natural edible oil. This oil possesses antioxidant properties, helps lower blood pressure and blood lipids, inhibits arterial sclerosis, and also contributes to hair care, skin nourishment, anti-inflammatory effects, and pain relief.

　　Pengshui County is one of China’s key national oil tea production bases, with unique resource advantages for developing the oil tea industry. Currently, the total area of oil tea bases in Pengshui County has reached 100,000 mu, mainly distributed across towns such as Anzi, Meiziyah, Zhufu, Shangan, Zouma, and Yushan, initially forming a complete forestry industry development pattern integrating production, supply, and sales.

　　In 2013, "Pengshui Oil Tea," applied for by the Pengshui Miao-Tujia Autonomous County Oil Tea Management Association, was approved and registered as a China National Geographical Indication Certification trademark by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, with the trademark registration number: 12405994.
