Mengshan Longwu Tea Expo Park is located in Yuandongtou Town, Yishui County, a renowned eco-tourism destination. Nestled among mountains, ancient trees, winding streams, waterfalls, and flowing brooks, it is the hometown of Zuxiulian, a celebrated heroine of the Yimeng Red Sisters. Covering a total area of 106 square kilometers with a population of 30,000, the area boasts a forest coverage rate of 54.2%. It is situated at the center of Shandong Province’s tourism framework of “mountain-water sages and golden coast.” With the completion and convergence of the Qingdao-Laiwu Expressway and the Changchun-Shenzhen Expressway in Yishui, the accessibility of tourism in the entire town has significantly improved. Especially after the opening of the riverside avenue, it has formed a half-hour living circle with neighboring counties such as Yishui, Yinan, and Juxian, and a one-hour living circle with cities such as Linyi and Rizhao, making it the “Back Garden of Linyi.”

The core base of the park is located in Yuandongtou, Yishui, a famous eco-tourism destination in Shandong. During the 1950s and 1960s, the “South Tea North Introduction” project brought tea trees originally grown in southern China to the high-altitude mountains of inland Shandong. These transplanted tea trees, having endured decades of mountain weather, developed semi-wild characteristics. Leveraging this unique trait, the park has developed a distinctive processing technique, producing teas that embody the distinct qualities of high-mountain green tea from Shandong—highly resistant to brewing, rich in aroma, and boasting delightful fruity and floral notes with a strong wild mountain essence. These teas have become sought-after new favorites in the era of green ecology, winning widespread consumer acclaim. The park's products have successively been awarded titles including “Top Ten Tea Brands of Shandong Province,” “Shandong Consumer Satisfaction Brand,” “Famous Trademark of Shandong Province,” “Shandong Famous Brand,” “Gold Award at China Forestry Trade Fair,” and “First Prize at National Drinking Cup.” The products have also been certified as “China Organic Green Tea” and “National Geographical Indication Products.”

Covering an area of 30,000 square meters, the Tea Expo Park integrates tea culture exhibitions, tea art performances, scientific research, processing, training, tourism, and shopping. It has been recognized as a “Gold-Level Shopping Destination in Shandong Province,” “Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site in Shandong,” “National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site,” and a national AAA-level tourist attraction.
