Yangjia Zhujiang Site: Located one kilometer north of Yangjia Zhujiang Village in Mazhan Town, this is a platform-like site with cultural deposits about one meter thick, rich in content. Artifacts unearthed include stone axes, stone knives, stone adzes, and pottery such as sand-tempered jars, basins, pots, and lid-shaped vessels. The majority are sand-tempered pottery and black pottery, dating back to the Longshan Culture period of the Neolithic Age. The surface of the site also exposes a large number of Han Dynasty cultural remains. This site spans from the Longshan Culture of the Neolithic Age to the Han Dynasty.

Mazhan Town: Mazhan Town is located at the northern end of the 800-li (400 km) Yimeng Mountain area, situated at the center of three cities (Linyi, Weifang, Zibo) and five counties (Yishui, Yiyuan, Linqu, Zhucheng, Anqiu). It is 34 kilometers from the county seat, governs 76 administrative villages and 83 natural villages, with 21,000 households and a population of 69,000.
