Ruins of Xuewang Terrace

The ruins of Xuewang Terrace are a cultural tourism attraction.

The ruins of Xuewang Terrace are located to the south of Malan Village in Gaozhuang Town, on a high terrace site. It lies east of a river, west against a mountain, north connected to sloping land, and south bordering a mountain valley. The cultural deposit is about 1 meter thick, with grayish-brown soil containing fire-burnt earth blocks and pottery fragments. Artifacts unearthed include pottery li tripods, basins, dou stem bowls, jars, as well as deer antlers, bronze arrowheads, stone axes, and stone adzes. It is a cultural site dating back to the Zhou Dynasty.

Gaozhuang Town: Located in the westernmost part of Yishui County, Gaozhuang Town is known as the “Western Gateway” of Yishui. It sits at the junction of Yishui, Yinan, Mengyin, and Yiyuan counties. The town center is 37 km from Yishui County, 43 km from Mengyin County, 41 km from Yinan County, and 46.3 km from Yiyuan County. The east-west Shijiu-Yanzhou Road intersects with the north-south Linyi-Zibo Road in the town center, and all villages are connected by paved roads, making transportation convenient. The town stretches 34.7 km from north to south and 3.82 km from east to west.
