The Shangyan Temple Ruins are a cultural heritage protection unit of Linyi City.

The Shangyan Temple Ruins are located on Lingquan Mountain, south of Shangxiaojiagou Village, Longjiaquan Town, Yishui County. Dating back to the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing, and Republican periods, they are classified as ancient architecture.

The Shangyan Temple Ruins are among the fourth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.

Longjiaquan Subdistrict: Located in the western suburbs of Yishui County, Longjiaquan Subdistrict governs 22 communities, 54 administrative villages, and 66 natural villages, with a total population of 64,000. It covers an area of 94 square kilometers, including 46,000 mu of arable land, and has a forest coverage rate of 30%. The average elevation is 109 meters, and the terrain slopes from north to south. The main river is the Yi River. The area has a warm temperate monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 12.3°C, an extreme maximum temperature of 35°C, and a frost-free period of 195–210 days.
