Xiuyu Apricot Blossom Valley

Xiuyu Apricot Blossom Valley is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Xiuyu Apricot Blossom Valley Scenic Area is located 4.5 kilometers southwest of Zhuge Town, boasting beautiful scenery and rolling peaks. It is known as the "Ancient Village of Three Dynasties and Century-Old Apricot Blossom Grove." The village was established in the late Yuan Dynasty, where people settled and thrived, naming it Xiuyu for its beautiful landscape. It is also called Baigu (Hundred Valleys) due to the numerous mountain gullies in the area.

Xiuyu Village has a vast number of apricot trees, with several thousand over a hundred years old. According to incomplete statistics, there are as many as one hundred thousand. When the apricot blossoms bloom, they cover the mountains and valleys, filling the air with fragrance and attracting throngs of visitors. Three Apricot Blossom Festivals have been successfully held. During the festival, the place is bustling with activity, a grand rural "carnival" of unprecedented scale, featuring wonderful performances that leave visitors enchanted. In the sunny days of March, when the grass grows and eagles soar, the apricot blossoms burst into bloom, painting the hills red and dyeing the forests in layers of color.
