Taokesizi Red Tourism Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Taokesizi Red Tourism Area, located 8 kilometers west of Yuandongtou Town, is a national AAA-level scenic spot. It is the hometown of Zuzhuxian (Red Sister-in-law) Zushoulian from the Yimeng region and one of the birthplaces of the Yimeng Spirit.

Taokesizi Village is the hometown of Zushoulian, a small mountain village with a population of just over 600. During the War of Resistance against Japan, Zushoulian saved a wounded soldier by feeding him chicken soup. After being discharged from the army, the rescued soldier Guo Wushi returned to Yishui to acknowledge her as his mother and care for her in her later years — a story that has become widely celebrated. The "Aunt Zhang" in the famous writer Liu Zhixia’s book Tales of the Yimeng Mountains is based on Zushoulian. In the 1970s, the Shandong Peking Opera Troupe specifically performed The Red Sister-in-Law (later renamed Ode to Yimeng) in the village, and over 40 actors from the China Dance Drama Troupe spent more than 40 days here experiencing local life and performing The Red Detachment of Women for the villagers.

To preserve the moving stories of the Red Sister-in-law and develop rural tourism based on red culture, the village established the Hometown of the Red Sister-in-law Tourism Professional Cooperative. It actively developed “farmhouse stay” operations, and successively built the Yimeng Red Sister-in-Law Zushoulian Memorial Hall, the Educated Youth Old House, renovated the former residence of the Red Sister-in-law, and constructed new stone houses and themed holiday cabins.

The scenic area features numerous red-themed venues and historic sites. Attractions within the area include the Yimeng Red Sister-in-Law Zushoulian Memorial Hall, the former residence of Zushoulian, the former home of Liu Zhixia, the wartime post office, the Educated Youth Old House, the Soldiers-and-Civilians Unity Square, hidden bunkers, and the militia shooting range. There are also supporting facilities such as the One Mountain Nine Villas holiday cabins, Hongyungang Hotel, and distinctive farmhouse restaurants, making it a resort destination that combines red history and culture with natural scenery.
