Yellow River Delta Zoo

Yellow River Delta Zoo is a national AAA-level tourist attraction, covering a construction area of 1,000 acres with a total investment of 450 million RMB. The park began trial operations in 2012 and officially opened on October 1, 2013. The project is being developed in two phases. Phase one primarily involves the construction of the main zoo complex and various animal enclosures, as well as amusement facilities. The planned main structures, animal exhibits, and supporting facilities under phase one have all been completed and put into use. The second phase, which includes the amusement park, has an investment of 57 million RMB and is currently under construction. Once fully completed, the zoo will become the only large-scale comprehensive urban animal park in the entire Yellow River Delta region, integrating wildlife viewing and conservation, science education, and leisure entertainment.
