Located beside a branch of the Jia-Nan irrigation channel in Xinying District, Tainan City, the Xinying Art Park takes childhood imagination as its theme, connecting public art with nearby school campuses. The western section runs from the Cultural Center through Xinying High School and Nanxin Junior High School to Fuxing Road. Leveraging the unique qualities of outdoor art—such as building walls, sunlight, wind, and tree shade—it showcases many artworks. The open-space design of the park aims to create an interactive space, promote everyday art experiences, and integrate the irrigation channel area into community life.

Xinying Taisui Temple in Tainan’s Xinying District has a long history, dating back to 1688, the 27th year of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty. The temple primarily worships the Three Great Heavenly Generals—Jin Zha, Mu Zha, and Ne Zha—and is a Taoist shrine. On the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, the Double Ninth Festival, the temple holds a grand birthday pilgrimage ceremony for the Central Deity Prince Ne Zha, which is one of Taiwan’s most significant religious celebrations.
