Taohua Island Tourist Resort

Taohua Island Tourist Resort is located on the north bank of the Yellow River at Nanbatou in Longju Town, Dongying City. Built upon a 40,000-mu ecological forest, it is a national AAA-level scenic area covering an area of 1,200 mu with a total investment of 180 million yuan. Making full use of the water and sand resources of the Yellow River, it has developed five major functional zones: “ecological sightseeing, agricultural experience, fitness and wellness, leisure and entertainment, and vacation and convalescence.” The main attractions include a ski resort, grass skiing field, horse riding field, adventure center, conference center, hot spring resort, auto camping site, and leisure sightseeing pasture. Together, they form a large-scale tourism layout described as “Yellow River Estuary in the north, Sunwu Lake in the south, Swan Lake in the east, and Taohua Island in the west.”
