Lanco Lake Tourist Resort is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and an agricultural tourism demonstration site in Shandong Province. Located south of Dongying District Government, at No. 201 South Second Road within Dongying Central Business District, it covers an area of over 5,000 acres. The resort is lush and green all year round, home to more than 170 plant species, over 1.6 million trees, and 600,000 square meters of ground cover plants. It boasts the largest green space and most beautiful lake surface in the urban area, hence the name "Lanco Lake" (Embracing Greenery Lake). The resort mainly features golf and hot springs, with comprehensive development in sports and leisure, health and entertainment, eco-tourism, and business conferences. It has initially established four main areas: the Water Activity Center, Eco-botanical Area, Specialized Business Leisure Zone, and Wellness Activity Zone for Middle-aged and Seniors.

Lanco Lake Tourist Resort is located between Dongying’s eastern and western urban areas. The air here is fresh, making it a natural “oxygen bar” and “green lung.” The lake covers an area of 400 acres and is characterized by its serenity, tranquility, beauty, and wild charm. Surrounded by lush trees and picturesque natural scenery, the lake’s crystal-clear waters, soft sandy beaches, and birdsong also contribute to its name. The resort includes a golf course, floral and vegetable garden, large water park, modern eco-holiday hotel, and the largest hot spring bathing facility under construction in northern Shandong. It is a well-developed high-end tourist resort integrating eco-tourism, leisure and entertainment, and business reception. “Lanco Lake in Dongying invites the moon; in peak summer, noble guests come seeking blossoms.” Lanco Lake Tourist Resort is situated south of Dongying District Government within the central business district, covering over 5,000 acres. The Water Activity Center plans a lake area of 1,000 acres, with 400 acres currently completed. A fully wooden boardwalk meanders through the lake; at night, the reflection of the moon creates the scenic view of "Moon Embraced by Nine Turns." The lake is home to a large population of over 20 fish species. At fixed times each day, an automatic feeder on the bridge attracts fish swarming to the surface, forming the spectacular "Green Lake Fish Tide," drawing many visitors. Currently, activities available in the Water Activity Zone include fishing, boating, water biking, and artificial beach sunbathing. Development is underway for another 600 acres of water surface, along with facilities such as lakeside resort clubs and children’s amusement parks. Once fully completed, the Water Activity Center will complement the Xinzheng Reservoir to the north and the Gengjing Water Source to the northwest, becoming a landmark waterscape that best represents the "Yellow River Water City" character in the urban area.
