Longju Yellow River Forest Tourism Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Longju Yellow River Forest Tourism Resort in Dongying District, Dongying City, is situated in the Yellow River exhibition area west of the Longju Town government. It borders the Yellow River to the west, boasts lush vegetation and a superior ecological environment, with picturesque natural scenery. The area is rich in Yellow River culture, dragon culture, and historical heritage, characterized by simple local customs, abundant local products, and distinctive features, providing a solid platform for the development of rural tourism.

Construction of the Longju Yellow River Forest Tourism Resort began in September 2011. It adopts a development model led by the government with participation from enterprises. To date, it has attracted an investment of 780 million yuan and employed over 1,300 people. In March 2003, the resort was rated as a national AAA-level scenic area. The Longju Yellow River Forest Tourism Resort includes Longqi Wetland Park, Lifeng Tourism Resort, Taohua Island Tourism Resort, and Julong Mountain Villa. Built around the Longju Ecological Forest Farm, the resort stretches from the Yellow River channel in the west to the southern embankment of the Yellow River in the east, from the Fifth Canal in the north to the boundary of Boxing County in the south, covering a planned area of 41,000 mu. Among these, the Taohua Island Tourism Resort spans 1,500 mu and features projects such as a horse racing field, business club, Badayuan Restaurant, vegetable picking garden, paintball arena, and the largest plain ski resort in Shandong Province. The Lifeng Tourism Resort covers a planned area of 1,043 mu and includes a 13,000-square-meter tourism reception center, a 4,600-square-meter expansion center reception building, a 20,000-square-meter hot spring leisure center, a 10,000-square-meter corporate clubhouse, and 58,000 square meters of supporting tourism facilities.
