A themed park in the new district of Dongying, it is located along the main urban axis of the Dongying New District, covering an area of 240,000 square meters. A central axis runs from south to north, with key landscape viewpoints along it including the entrance on Huanghe Road, the thematic sculpture, and the administrative office center—each distinct yet forming visual counterpoints to one another. Based on different functional zones, Yellow River Park is mainly divided from south to north into a cultural leisure area and a central activity area. The park’s thematic sculpture, "Cohesion," is a landmark of the new district. Standing 22 meters tall with a 1.7-meter base, it is positioned along the park’s central axis. The red stainless steel structure features an abstract spiraling upward form that conveys strong vitality and an unstoppable upward momentum. The convergence of multiple lines symbolizes the merging of the Yellow River and the Bohai Sea, as well as the integration of the new district and Dongying City. At the heart of the spiral lies a stainless steel sphere, which, through its powerful centripetal force, serves as a gravitational field of unity and a source of upward momentum. It represents the dedication, aspirations, confidence, and determination of the people in the new district, who, under the leadership of the district Party committee and government, unite in striving, pioneering, and innovating to jointly create a better life and build a modernized city.
