The Meritorious Well of Shengli Oilfield is a cultural relic protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Meritorious Well of Shengli Oilfield is located in Wenhui Subdistrict, Dongying District, and Shengtuo Town, Kenli County, Dongying City, dating back to the years 1961, 1962, and 1963.

On June 23, 2015, the Meritorious Well of Shengli Oilfield was designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People’s Government of Shandong Province.

Wenhui Subdistrict: Wenhui Subdistrict is located in the northeast of the West District of Dongying City, approximately 6 kilometers from the district government. It borders Victory Subdistrict to the east, Xindian Subdistrict to the west, Huanghe Road Subdistrict to the south, and adjoins Kenli County to the north. Covering a total area of 38 square kilometers, it administers 10 community neighborhood committees (including 4 converted from villages) and 1 villagers’ committee. The subdistrict has a population of 125,000, including 49,399 permanent residents and 48,114 non-agricultural residents.
