Welcome Ecological Sightseeing Park is located in the High-Tech Development Zone of Hengshui City, Hebei Province. It can be accessed via the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, Shijiazhuang-Dezhou Railway, or the Shi-Huang Expressway. The park is 8 kilometers from downtown Hengshui. It is an agricultural sightseeing and tourism destination. Established in 2002, the park has a total planned area of 800,000 square meters, with 13,000 square meters currently developed. Relying on a pollution-free vegetable production base, it features multiple functional zones including a flower center, Nature Restaurant, pollution-free vegetable viewing area, hundred-fruit orchard, and fishing park. It forms a modern agricultural science and technology demonstration park that integrates production, supply, sales, tourism, entertainment, and shopping. The park is distinguished by four key features: technology introduction, demonstration impact, ecological sightseeing, and green dining. With a development philosophy centered on “ecology, greenery, health, and environmental protection,” it provides a leisure destination for urban visitors.

Traditional crafts of Hengshui include the “Three Treasures of Hengshui”: inside-painted snuff bottles, Houde writing brushes, and imperial goldfish. Among them, Houde writing brushes are known for their moderate firmness, balance of hardness and softness, large ink capacity, and resistance to shedding. The brushes are made from animal hair and tail fur, with winter fur being the best quality. They undergo five major processes and 73 minor steps to create brushes of various sizes, shapes, and uses. Other traditional crafts include Wuqiang New Year paintings, jade carving, bone carving, hardwood carving, filigree work, and dough modeling.
