“ChengYi Cultural Tourism Taocheng Tea Looks” is Asia’s first experience-based cultural and creative design hotel themed around “Alishan Tea.” With a focus on six-sensory experiences, it offers every visitor the extraordinary sensations of hearing tea, smelling tea, seeing tea, touching tea, tasting tea, and feeling tea. The tea warehouse story wall on the lobby wall, and the stairwell designed with the theme “A Poetic Tea Journey,” display old-style suitcases and rustic teacups and utensils, quietly fermenting in time. Inside the guest rooms, the scenery of Alishan and Chiayi’s local mountain city, curated spaces for exhibitions, tea-dyed handicraft experiences, and tea journey art-themed rooms—all facility details within the hotel abound with interesting tea-related knowledge and charm.
