On December 28, the final event of the 2019 Lingjiu Mountain · National First Forest Extreme Sports Games — the Jungle Crossing Competition — came to an end at the Jiuhua Dayinshan Jungle Crossing Base in Kecheng District.
The Jungle Crossing Competition was conducted in a preliminary and final format, consisting of the Jungle Crossing Speed Race and the “Keeping Up with the Times” (bamboo sawing competition). The preliminary round on the 27th saw nearly 600 employees and 58 teams participate, divided into two groups to compete on the green and orange routes of the Dayinshan Jungle Crossing. Leaders and guests such as Xu Xiongqiang, Party Group Secretary and Executive Vice Chairman of the Quzhou Federation of Trade Unions, Xu Cunzhen, Deputy Secretary of the Kecheng District Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, Xiong Qingyi, Party Group Secretary and Executive Vice Chairman of the District Federation of Trade Unions, Jiang Jianling, Party Group Secretary and Director of the District Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, Zhou Xiaoling, Director of the Office for Promoting the Construction of the National Forest Sports Town, and He Jiashun, General Manager of Quzhou Mouse from VillagePlus Cultural Tourism Group, attended the opening ceremony of the competition.
The preliminary round selected 19 teams to advance to the finals on the 28th. Participants competed on the most challenging black route of the Dayinshan Jungle Crossing in the Jungle Crossing Speed Race, with overall rankings determined by the combined total time of completing both the black route and the bamboo sawing events. It was a test of physical strength, skill, and teamwork. In the end, Green Creation Forest Sports Co., Ltd. won first prize with a time of 6 minutes and 31 seconds, while Juhua Group and Kecheng District Education Bureau took second prize, and State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company, Quzhou International Hotel, Kecheng District People's Court, Shida Shi Group, and Huayuan Subdistrict received third prize.
With this, all seven major events of the 2019 Lingjiu Mountain · National First Forest Extreme Sports Games — the Forest Extreme Elite Competition, Forest Sports Carnival, Off-Road E-Challenge, Mapeng Martial Arts Assembly, Forest Sports Experience, Forest Sports Equipment Exhibition, and Jungle Crossing Competition — have concluded successfully.

These events have been highly favored by outdoor sports enthusiasts from home and abroad, and distinctive sporting events have become a highlight in Kecheng District’s economic development.
As one of the first 96 pilot towns for sports and leisure characteristics in China, the Lingjiu Mountain National Forest Sports Town in Kecheng District aligns with the national trend of promoting national fitness, sports consumption, and building a strong sports nation. It has innovatively developed the “forest-themed” IP — the National Forest Extreme Sports Games — to enhance service quality and enrich its core brand culture.
