“Chengyi Cultural Tourism Taicheng Tea Look” is the first experience-based cultural & creative design hotel in all of Asia themed around “Alishan Tea.” With a focus on six-sense experiences, it offers every visitor the extraordinary sensations of hearing tea, smelling tea, seeing tea, touching tea, tasting tea, and feeling tea. The tea warehouse story wall on the lobby wall, and the stairwell designed with the theme “Poetic Tea Travel,” feature old suitcases and rustic tea bowls and utensils, quietly fermenting in time. Within the guest rooms, the landscapes of Alishan and Chiayi’s local mountain city, the curated exhibitions in the performance space, tea-dyed handmade experiences, and tea-travel art-themed rooms—all facility details throughout the property offer insights and knowledge related to tea.

Taicheng Tea Look welcomes weary travelers with a seated counter. Upon taking a seat upstairs, guests are served organic welcome tea from Alishan tea gardens, with options such as Shan Zhi Dao Green Tea and Yun Na Li Black Tea to choose from; allowing travelers to begin imagining their tea journey amidst the warm fragrance of tea.

Upon opening the guest room door, one is greeted by the delicate and bright scenery of Alishan, with every carefully designed focal point bringing a relaxing sense of local imagery. The rooms are also equipped with custom hand-fired teaware from Taicheng Tea Look, along with organic Alishan tea for guests to enjoy hot and fragrant; plus, special tea bath sachets are provided, allowing guests to pour the brewed tea from the sachets into the bathtub after a day of travel, cleansing travel fatigue amid a medley of tea aromas, and reinvigorating with fresh energy.
