Hengshui China Park

Hengshui China Park is located at the intersection of Zhonghua Street and Renmin Road in the downtown area of Hengshui City. The park was first built in 1983 and officially opened to visitors in 1984, covering an area of 48.69 acres. With a green coverage rate of 85%, it is the earliest comprehensive park in Hengshui City that combines leisure, entertainment, and fitness.

The park features a beautiful environment with shady trees and is home to the iconic structure of China Park — the “Soaring Swan.” Other highlights include the Li Xiannian Memorial Forest, the Marriage and Childbirth Memorial Forest. As the largest sports-oriented park in Hengshui City, it has 83 sets of fitness equipment and one standard basketball court, making it a popular spot for local seniors to work out. It sees a constant stream of visitors coming for morning exercise every day.

The park offers a wide variety of amusement facilities, including bumper cars, a mini train, a roller coaster dragon, a Ferris wheel, as well as inflatable castles and children’s trampolines that are especially loved by teenagers. The zoo houses more than ten species of animals, such as the hippopotamus (a second-class internationally protected animal), the Asian black bear, sika deer, peacock, and mandarin duck (all second-class nationally protected animals). Additionally, the park features a taekwondo gym that is enjoyed by people of all ages.
