Hengshui Fuyang River Water Conservancy Scenic Area
The Hengshui Fuyang River Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.
The Hengshui Fuyang River Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Taocheng District, Hengshui City. It was built based on the comprehensive renovation and sewage interception project of the urban section of the Fuyang River, and is classified as an urban river-lake type water conservancy scenic area. Covering an area of 1.94 square kilometers, with a water surface area of 0.72 square kilometers, the scenic area centers around the theme of “A Ten-Li Corridor, the Dragon Vein of Fuyang.” A series of comprehensive ecological landscape improvement projects have been carried out along the Fuyang River, including the development of waterscape landscapes, embankment greening, and the construction of themed parks. Iconic attractions such as the Baoyun Wetland Park, Xiao He Square, Fuyang Ecological Culture Park, and the Historical Style Corridor have been built. After comprehensive renovation, the flood discharge capacity of the Fuyang River has significantly improved, effectively ensuring urban flood control safety and providing a foundational guarantee for the development of an ecologically livable northern lake city.
