Bengcheng Ancient City

Bengcheng Ancient City is a cultural relics protection unit of Shandong Province.

Bengcheng Ancient City is located in Dongzhuang Town, Ningyang County, dating back to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty to the Han Dynasty.

On June 23, 2015, Bengcheng Ancient City was designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Dongzhuang Town: Located south of Mount Tai, where the Wen River flows westward. On the southern bank of the Wen River lies a picturesque place — Dongzhuang Township. It governs 45 administrative villages, has a population of 60,000, and covers a total area of 100 square kilometers.

Convenient transportation: The Cilai Railway, Mengguan Highway, and Chaochai Highway run east-west. It is 10 kilometers west of the Ciyao Station on the Beijing-Shanghai Railway and National Highway 104, 12 kilometers from the entrance of the Beijing-Fuzhou Expressway, and 20 kilometers from the [highway] entrance.
