The Shentong Mountain Cliff Carvings are a cultural relic protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Shentong Mountain Cliff Carvings are located in Geshi Town, Ningyang County, dating back to the Northern Dynasties and the Five Dynasties periods.

On October 10, 2013, the Shentong Mountain Cliff Carvings were designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Geshi Town: Geshi Town is located 45 km south of Mount Tai—the most revered of China’s Five Great Mountains—and 25 km north of Qufu, a historic cultural capital. Covering a total area of 132 km², it administers 27 administrative villages with a population of 72,000. Geshi Town is nationally renowned as a fruit-growing hub, boasts a solid industrial foundation, and has a long history. Within its territory, nine cultural heritage sites—from the Neolithic Age to the Han Dynasty—have been excavated, identified, and preserved, making it one of the notable towns in the Qilu region.

Natural Conditions: The terrain of Geshi Town slopes from north to south, with Shentong Mountain and Hei Mountain serving as boundary mountains.
