Chiping Xiaozhuang Jujube Ecological Park is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The Zaoxiang Ecological Park in Chiping County is located in Xiaozhuang Town, Chiping County. It was officially launched in the spring of 2010 as one of the top ten agricultural benefit projects in Chiping County. The park is adjacent to the Liaoxia Road to the west and the Bolin Road to the south, situated 17 kilometers from Liaocheng City. With a planned total area of 10,000 mu, it boasts a beautiful ecological environment and convenient transportation.

The park is designed based on the concept of building five gardens simultaneously—the "Science and Technology Garden," "Exhibition Garden," "Ecological Garden," "Wellness Garden," and "Cultural Garden." The entire park primarily features a jujube orchard, along with ten other themed zones including a peach orchard, pear orchard, apple orchard, walnut orchard, grape orchard, labor experience garden, greenhouse vegetable garden, and organic leek garden. The aim is to create a modern eco-agricultural sightseeing park centered around jujubes, offering fragrant flowers in spring, fruits in summer and autumn, greenhouse produce in winter, lush greenery all year round, and rich content. In addition to highlighting its eco-agricultural characteristics, the park has also developed numerous historical and cultural attractions such as the Wangjin Platform, Zaoxiang Celebrity Garden, Xiaoci Lake, Twenty-Four Filial Piety Sculptures, and the China Yuanling Jujube Exhibition Hall. These elements blend nature and culture harmoniously, complementing each other beautifully.

On September 20, 2012, the "Liaocheng Water Culture · Chiping Jujube Culture and the First China Yuanling Jujube Harvest Festival" was successfully launched in Xiaozhuang Town, receiving widespread acclaim from leaders at the provincial, municipal, and county levels as well as from all sectors of society. This further enhanced the park’s visibility and influence. To date, the China Yuanling Jujube Ecological Park has successfully held three jujube harvest festivals. The park is currently applying for national AAA-level scenic area status, and a high-end industrial planning project led by the Industry Department of the National Development and Reform Commission is also underway. The goal is to develop the site into the largest eco-agricultural sightseeing and tourism base in Shandong Province within five years.
