Lepingpu Site

The Lepingpu Site is a cultural heritage conservation unit of Liaocheng City.

The Lepingpu Site is located on North Street, Lepingpu Town, Chiping County, dating back to the Dawenkou to the Warring States period, and is classified as an ancient site.

In April 1999, the Lepingpu Site was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage conservation unit of Liaocheng City.

Lepingpu Town is situated in the southern part of Chiping County, with the town government located 15 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Zhenxing Subdistrict Office and Dulankou Town to the north, neighbors Dong'e County to the east and south, and adjoins Hanji Township and Guangping Township to the west. By the end of 2005, the town covered a total area of 125.91 square kilometers, with 7,300 hectares of arable land, 88 administrative villages, 111 natural villages, and a total population of 51,997.
