The stele with an inscription by Feng Yuxiang is located in Yangzhuang Village, Boping Town, Chiping County. Dating back to 1936, it falls under the category of important modern historical sites and representative architecture.

In April 1999, the stele with an inscription by Feng Yuxiang was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit of Liaocheng City.

Feng Yuxiang (1882–1948), originally named Jishan and styled Huanzhang, was a native of Chaohu, Anhui. He was born in Xingji Town, Qingxian County, Hebei Province. In the 10th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1884), he moved with his father to Baoding, where he grew up in Xikanggezhuang Village in the eastern suburbs of Baoding. Coming from a poor family, he enlisted in the Baoding Five Battalions in the 22nd year of Guangxu (1896), and transferred to the Right Wuwei Army in the 28th year of Guangxu (1902). He held various positions including squad leader, company commander, and battalion commander. After the Wuchang Uprising broke out in the 3rd year of the Xuantong reign (1911), he joined Wang Jinming and Shi Congyun in launching a supportive uprising in Luanzhou.
