The Juye County Calligraphy and Painting Academy is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Located within Zhushui River Park in Juye County, the Juye County Calligraphy and Painting Academy enjoys excellent transportation links, a superior environment, and a rich cultural atmosphere. It is a comprehensive art institution integrating creation, training, exhibitions, and sales.

The Juye County Calligraphy and Painting Academy serves as a showcase for Juye’s calligraphy and painting industry. Its first and second floors have seven exhibition halls, and the third floor houses a training center and creation studios. The first floor includes a VIP reception room and the Linzhou Lecture Hall, which can accommodate visiting groups of around 200 people. The training center can train 500 participants per session, with an annual total of 2,000 trainees. The Juye County Artists Association, Juye County Calligraphers Association, Juye County Farmers’ Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, and Juye County Gongbi Painting Society all have offices here to guide artists in their studies and creations. There is also a library reading room with 20 seats to support artists' learning and research. The training base features a large exhibition hall covering 5,000 square meters, capable of displaying over 1,000 artworks and simultaneously hosting seven different themed exhibitions. It can accommodate large and medium-sized national exhibitions and calligraphy and painting festivals. The digital exhibition hall further extends the potential of exhibition functions. The Linzhou Lecture Hall is equipped with an independent sound system and electronic teaching facilities, suitable for lectures and forums.

Currently, the county has four specialized towns, more than 50 specialized villages, and nearly 400 specialized households. Over 6,000 people are engaged in the creation, sales, and mounting of calligraphy and paintings. Last year, more than 600,000 paintings were created, generating an output value of 150 million yuan. The artworks are exported to 30 countries and regions including the United States, France, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Domestically, there are over 70 sales outlets, and friendly cooperative relationships have been established with more than 500 galleries and academies across the country, further expanding the calligraphy and painting market. To further strengthen the local calligraphy and painting industry, the academy has planned a new building with a construction area of 8,000 square meters in Dayeze Park. The main structure has been completed, and interior decoration is underway.
